There are fourteen statewide props on the November ballot. To stage an event that’s up to our usual standards – well-researched mini-debates with pro and con sides of each measure – barely a week after our Party & Auction would be, in a word, impossible.
The Auction was great in every way – fantastic live jazz, yummy food, fun crowd, friendly space, generous selection of locally-donated items in the silent auction. Lots of work to produce, but worth it. Thanks everyone! Donor list below.
So – because of all that auction action – we are postponing the August 4 meeting to August 11. Same time, same place.
